Mary Gertrude Gibbs

  Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Gertrude Gibbs, 88, were held at
2 p.m., Thursday, March 21, at the Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Chapel. Interment followed in the Fenders Cemetery.

  Mrs. Gibbs died Monday, March 18, at Memorial Northwest Hospital
in Houston, Texas.

  She is survived by four sons, James Gibbs of Rayne, Charles
Gibbs of Houston, Billy Gibbs of Charlotte, North Carolina, and
Leonard Gibbs of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Martha Steward of
Conroe, Texas, and Mary Lynn Berryman of Houston, Texas; two
sisters, Oleave Knippers of Sulphur, and Naomi Cullumber of Lake
Charles; 25 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.

  Mrs. Gibbs is preceded in death by her husband, Don; and her
daughter, Gloria Wagner.

  Pallbearers were Don Dennison, Greg Gibbs, Arlton Cangelosi,
Ricky Gibbs, Guy Gibbs, Michael Gibbs, and Leonard Alan Gibbs.
