Isom C. Gibson

  Funeral services for Isom C. Gibson, 78, of DeRidder, were held at 2 p.m., Sunday in the
Hixson Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Tom Lee officiating. Burial was in the Beauregard
Cemetery.

  Mr. Gibson died Friday afternoon, in the Beauregard Baptist Hospital. He was a member of
the Second Baptist Church.

  Survivors are his widow; four daughters, Mrs. Oscar Hilderbrand, and Mrs. Dewey Baggett,
both of Raglan, Mrs. Ruth Lee Arabie, and Mrs. Bertha Hayes, both of DeRidder; three sons,
Houston gibson of DeRidder, Hoyt Gibson of Houston, and Leon Gibson of Harvey; two sisters,
Mrs. Sarah Singletary of Hornbeck, and Mrs. Cordie Masters of Many; a brother, James Gibson
of Alexandria; 23 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
