The Rev. Nell McLemore officiated, assisted by the Rev. John Koelemay, Rev. William Boyd and Rev. John Burns. Gibson, 63, of Florien died Monday, Sept. 15 after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Blue Jacket, Okla. and lived for 30 years in San Bernardino, Calif. before moving to Louisiana, where he worked for Boise Cascade. He is survived by his widow, Sandy, his son, John and wife, Jewel; two grandchildren, Devin and Caitlyn; one sister, Betty J. Shelton and husband, Henry of Redlands, Calif; two brothers, Cloyde Gibson and wife, Bernice of Redmond, Ore. and Virdon Gibson and wife, Marian of Fontana, Calif, and numerous nieces and nephews.
