John R. Gibson

  John R. Gibson, of Hornbeck, 78, died Sunday, August 8.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, in the Assembly
of God Church in Hornbeck, with the Rev. James R. Flanagan
officiating. Burial was in Prewitt's Chapel, under the direction
of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.

  Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert Gibson of Pasadena,
Tex., and Carroll Gibson of Hornbeck; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred
Holt of Anacoco, and Mrs. Norman Ridgeway of Port Arthur, Tex.;
13 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
