Malcolm J. Givens

  Funeral services for Malcolm J. Givens, 51, were held at
Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Otis Spinks
officiating. Burial was in Centuries Memorial Park.

  A native of Bryceland, Mr. Givens lived in Florien, before
moving to Shreveport. He was co-owner of the M and T Parking Lot,
and a member of the Summer Grove Methodist Church.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Cain Givens of
Shreveport; one son, Malcolm Everett Givens of Shreveport; two
daughters, Mrs. Joyce Wood of Bossier City, and Miss Mary
Elizabeth Givens of Shreveport; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A.
Givens of Shreveport; one brother, Wayne Givens, Shreveport;
three sisters, Mrs. O. L. Salter of Zwolle, Mrs. F. J. Johnston,
and Mrs. John Lawhon, Shreveport; and one grandson.
