Joe Gass

  Joe Douglas Gass Sr., 67, of Leesville, died Thursday, Feb. 28
afternoon, at his residence, after a sudden illness.

  Graveside services were at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 2, in Prewitt's
Chapel Cemetery in Hornbeck, with the Rev. Aubrey Boswell
officiating. Survivors include one son, Joe Douglas Gass Jr. of
Dardanelle, Ark.; two brothers, Jakie Roy Gass of Anacoco, and
Clarence C. Gass of Doyline; four sisters, Lydia Stanly, Jeanette
Toderoff, and Virginia Smythe, all of Leesville, and Bobbie Achie
of Lancaster, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
