Martha Elizabeth Gass

  Martha Elizabeth Gass, 94, of Oak Grove Community, died Friday,
April 9, at 8:25 a.m., at Fraser North in Many. Services were
held Sunday, April 11, at 2 p.m., at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral
Chapel in Natchitoches, with the Rev. Dean Hendricks, and the
Rev. Earl Marr officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.

  She is survived by four sons, Peter, and Willard Gass of
Natchitoches, Joe Gass of Pineville, and James Gass of
Electricia, Tex.; two daughters, Ruth Rond of Natchitoches, and
Ollie Bell Armstrong of Zwolle; two sisters, Zillie Self of
Anacoco, and Titla Rouchkolb of Leesville; 36 grandchildren; and
a number of great and great-great grandchildren.

  Mrs. Gass was for many years, a member of Calvary Baptist
Church.
