Goza, Sr., 81, of Shreveport, were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 22, at Forest Park Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. Dr. Darwin Scott, pastor of Highland Baptist Church, where Mr. Goza was a member, officiated. Mr. Goza, a resident of Shreveport for 66 years, died Monday, July 20, 1987, at Highland Hospital, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Winnfield, La. Mr. Goza was retired as an officer of the First National Bank of Shreveport. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Quarles Goza; a son, Fred E. Goza, Jr.; and a daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Gaye Lefevers, all of Shreveport; two grandchildren, Carl E. Banzhof of Houston, Texas, and Tracee Lyn East of Shreveport; a great grandson, Colton E. East of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Braden Mosley of Smithland, Texas, and Mrs. Huey Nabours of Many, La. Memorials may be made to Holy Angels School in Shreveport.
