All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mr. Wilfred "Jack" Ray Goss Funeral services were held for Mr. Wilfred "Jack" Ray Goss, 64, of Many, on Thursday, June 16, 1994, at 3 p.m., at Oak Hill Baptist Church, with interment at Oak Hill Cemetery. Officiating was Rev. E. E. Walker. Mr. Goss, born October 6, 1929, to Berry Lincoln Goss, and Wilda Thorla Goss in Hornbeck, died on June 15, 1994, in his residence in Many. Mr. Goss was employed by South Central Bell for 36 years, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. He was also a veteran from the U. S. Army, a member of the Florien Masonic Lodge, and a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Betty McComic Goss of Many; two daughters, Elizabeth Nan Goss of Many, and Jennifer Goss Rogers and her husband Stanley, both of Many; one grandson, Colton Wade Rogers of Many; three brothers, Glenn Goss of Florien, Berry Goss of Florien, and Bill Goss of Many; three sisters, Dot Duke of Coushatta, Reba Craft of Shreveport, and Wilda Goss, also of Shreveport; and a host of nieces and nephews.
