C. R. Raney officiating. Mrs. Gosey died Sunday, Oct. 22, 1995, at Willis-Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport. She was buried in New Jerusalem Cemetery, under the direction of Thomas Mortuary. Mrs. Gosey was born January 14, 1943, to the late Rev. Willie L. Larkin and Rosie Lee Sowell Lilly. She was baptized at St. Peter Baptist Church, and was later a dedicated member of the Bethel Baptist Church of Many, and it's Senior Choir. Survivors include her husband, Larry Gosey Sr.; three sons, Charles, and Larry Jr. of Sabine Parish, and Clinton of Baton Rouge; her mother, Mrs. Rosie Lee Lilly; her stepfather, Mr. Fred Lilly; four sisters, Isatricea Rutherford of Ft. Campbell, Ky., Johnnie M. Allen of Lewisville, Tex., Patricia L. Daniels of Princeton, and Ester Bell of Shreveport; six brothers, Philma Lilly of Friendswood, Tex., Robert Lilly of Bacliff, Tex., Edward, and Willie Lilly of Florien, the Rev. Johnnie R. Larkin of Colorado, and Parry W. Larkin of Princeton; three aunts, Rachel Hart of Robeline, Bernice Keys of Bastrop, and Allie B. Kemp of Shreveport; one uncle, Jes Row Larkin of Detroit, Michigan; five grandchildren; six brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law; two daughters-in-law; two stepmothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
