He was a member of Iron Workers Local 591, and was a breeder/grover for the poultry industry. Mr. Gaspard was also a well-known local musician. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Nov. 15, at Spring Ridge Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, with interment following at Spring Ridge Cemetery. The Rev. Tom Welch officiated, and the Rev. Jr. Ott assisted. Survivors include his widow, Shirley Gaspard of Zwolle; two sons, Audie Gaspard and wife Rhonda of Kilgore, Texas, and Austin Wayne Gaspard and wife Shanna of Many; and one daughter, Sandra Sandifur. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Durand. Pallbearers were Wayne Hagle, Russell Peace, Jim Anders, Terry Graves, Al Roe, Danny Gaspard, Kyle Gaspard, Jack Lightfoot, and Keith Lightfoot.
