Geoghagan Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 7, for George W. Geoghagan, 88, who passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, after an extended illness. The Rev. Ernest Lilley, and the Rev. Bill Fuller officiated at the services, which were held at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Interment was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Pallbearers were James Lynn Davis, Herman Davis, George Allen Davis, Don Wooley, Conrad Wooley, and Ray Davis. Survivors are seven daughters, Mrs. Vonciel Sandel, Mrs. Charlotte Davis, and Mrs. Thelma Wooley, and Mrs. Gayl Perrin of Florien, Mrs. Sibyl Lilley of Dallas, Tex., Mrs. Murrel Wooley of Many, and Mrs. Nelwyn Miller of Vidor, Tex.; one son, A. L. Lawson of Many; three brothers, R. W. Geoghagan of Many, T. J. Geoghagan of Florol, Ala., and J. W. Geoghagan of Bartow, Fla.; 24 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
