Father Leger Tremblay, and Monsignor Carson Lacaze officiated. Burial was at Forest Park cemetery. Mr. Gatti, a native and lifelong resident of Shreveport, died Saturday, February 8, 1986, after a lengthy illness. He was the owner of Gatti's Wrecking Yard from 1954, until he retired in 1983. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hal M. Gatti, and by his brothers, John S. Gatti, and Carl J. Gatti. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosemary H. Gatti of Shreveport; four sons; two daughters; and their wives and husbands, Murray E. and Mary Gatti, Jr. of Shreveport, Robert H. and Jean Gatti of Bossier City, Thomas R. and Virginia Gatti of Zwolle, Michael T. and Rose Gatti of Many, Pattie G. Weston of Augusta, Ga., and Kathleen G. and Charles Boyd of Mansfield; four sisters, Mrs. Marguerite G. Metcalf, Mrs. Mildred G. Scott, and Mrs. Hattie Mae Brown of Shreveport, Mrs. Alice G. Hart of Fort Worth, Texas. Pallbearers were Harold J. Laborde, Harold A. DeBroeck, Bob R. Hendricks, Warde P. Comeaux, John Pistorious, and Hal W. Gatti. Honorary pallbearers were Alton Richmond, William J. Brown, Albert J. Hart, Lawrence A. Scott, Thomas H. Gatti, Robert H. Gatti Jr. Randall S. Gatti, Charles R. Boyd, and Joseph Harrison. Family suggests, in lieu of flowers, that donations may be made to Holy Angels School, of the Shrine Hospital.
