Effie Gaddis

  Funeral services for Mrs. Effie Gaddis, 81, of Pleasant Hill,
was held Sunday, March 13, at 3 p.m., in the Pleasant Hill
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Vernon Stephenson officiating.
Burial was in the Spring Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Gaddis died March 12, at 6 a.m., after a short illness.

  Survivors include six sons, Eugene Gaddis of Alexandria, Herman,
and Joe Gaddis of Pleasant Hill, Roland Gaddis of Lake Charles,
Zane Gaddis, New Iberia, and Edgar Gaddis of Coushatta, and one
daughter, Woodie Onita Gaddis of Pleasant Hill; 14 grandchildren,
and 15 great grandchildren.
