Mrs. Raymond Gates

  Mrs. Raymond Gates, 27, of Many, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 11
p.m., in Fraser Hospital South, following an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held at Trinity Baptist Church Friday,
Aug. 24, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Larry Laurent, and the Rev.
Jerry Arthur officiating. Burial followed in the Warren Cemetery.

  Survivors include her husband, Raymond Gates of Many; two sons,
Bruce Gates, and Scott Gates, both of Many; her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Oda Mitchell of Many, and Roy Mitchell of Shreveport; six
sisters, Ruthie Mae Davidson of Texas, Yvonne Jones of
Shreveport, Loretta Helms of Many, Dianne King of Shreveport,
Gail Martinez of Dallas, Tex., and Etoyce Wright of Natchitoches.
