James Lewis Godeke

  Funeral services were held for James Lewis Godeke, 57, of
Zwolle, on Saturday, April 11, at 10 a.m., in the United
Pentecostal Church of Zwolle. He died on Thursday, April 9, in
the V. A. Hospital in Shreveport, at 10 a.m.

  Burial was in the Hanks Cemetery in Piedmont, Alabama. The
pallbearers were Paul H. Sepulvado, James Belle, Charles
Ezernack, Joe Rivers, Benny Rivers, and Howard Rivers.

  Survivors include his widow, Lorene Godeke, Zwolle; four sons,
David Martin Godeke, Rome, Ga., James Michael Godeke, Houston,
Tx., Robert Theodore Godeke, and Clinton Eugene Godeke, both of
Zwolle; one daughter, Sheryl Ann Hughes, Houston, Tx.; three
brothers, Robert Godeke, Palacias, Tx.; Raymond Godeke, Houston,
Tx.; and Kenneth Godeke, Houston, Tx.; one sister, Katherine
Godeke, Houston, Tx.; and five grandchildren.
