Thomas Harvey Gates

  Thomas Harvey Gates of Many died at Fraser Hospital North, at
11:15 p.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 2., following a sudden illness. He
was 59.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Kay Gates of Many; three sons,
Jimmie Gates, and Raymond Gates, both of Ft. Jesup, and Tommy
Gates of Shreveport; one daughter, Paula Elliott of Fisher; two
brothers, Gene Gates of Baton Rouge, and Connie Gates of
Hemphill, Tex.; one sister, Thelma Coleman of Beaumont, Tex.; and
eight grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Rocky Mount Cemetery, under
the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
