Mrs. Nettie Gates

  Services for Mrs. Nettie Gates, 80, of Pleasant Hill, were held
at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 12, at United Pentecostal Church in
Pleasant Hill. Officiating was the Rev. Robert Adams. Burial
followed at Springridge Cemetery. Arrangements were under the
directions of Drewett Funeral Home in Mansfield.

  She died at 10:20 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 11, 1983, in her Pleasant
Hill residence, after a lengthy illness.

  Survivors include her husband, William Daniel Gates; one son,
Odell Gates, both of Pleasant Hill; two daughters, Mrs. Melveana
Vines of Converse, and Mrs. Fannie Bridges of Shreveport; three
grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
