Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, July 31, at Belmont Union Baptist Church in Belmont, with interment following at Belmont Cemetery. The Rev. Vernon Stephenson, pastor of Belmont Union Baptist Church, officiated, and the Rev. Glenn Howard, pastor of Crossroads Baptist Church in Marthaville, assisted. Mr. Gaddis was a licensed electrician for Willamette Industries Incorporated. He gradated from Pleasant Hill High school in 1995, and had just recently graduated from the Natchitoches Parish Technical College. Survivors include his parents, Debra and Glen Gaddis of Belmont; maternal grandfather, William "Nat" Clark of Coushatta; two sisters, Sandra Hoggsett of Kansas City, Mo., and Melissa Anne Taylor of Coushatta; two brothers, Brian Lane Gaddis, and James Nathaniel Gaddis, both of Belmont; three nieces; three nephews; and numerous other relatives, and many friends.
