Mrs. Pearl May Gates

  Mrs. Pearl May Gates, 95, died Saturday, July 4, at IHS of Many.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 5, at
Fairbanks Baptist Church, with interment following at Mulhearn
Memorial Garden in Monroe. The Rev. Butch officiated.

  Survivors include two sisters, Pauline McEachern of Monroe, and
Annie Stutts of Pearl, Miss.; one brother, Gus Gunther of Monroe;
two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces
and nephews; and a host of friends. Mrs. Gates was preceded in
death by her husband, Joseph Henry Gates; and one son, Robert
Gates Sr.

  In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fairbanks
Baptist Church in Fairbanks.
