Mr. William Arthur Gaddis

  Mr. William Arthur Gaddis, 75, of Pasadena, Texas for 50 years,
formerly a resident of Pleasant Hill, died April 4, 2002, at
Bayshore Hospital in Pasadena, Texas.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., April 7, at Spring Ridge
Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, with interment following at
Spring Ridge cemetery. The Rev. Hoy Leach, pastor of Spring Ridge
Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, officiated.

  Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Bobbie Gaddis of
Pasadena, Texas; two sons, Alton Gaddis and wife Mary of LaPorte,
Texas, and Darron Gaddis and wife Irene of Alvin, Texas; three
grandchildren, Jason Gaddis of LaPorte, Texas, Christopher Gaddis
of Pasadena, Texas, and Stephanie Muma of Alvin, Texas; a host of
other relatives and friends.

  He was preceded in death by his father, Jess Gaddis; and mother,
Ethel Greer Rivers.

  Pallbearers were Rickey Hebert, Bruce Hendrickson, Bryce
Hendrickson, Jason Gaddis, Tommy Early, Eduardo Martinez, and
Dennis L. Blankenship.
