Goodman, 61, of Shreveport, were held at 4 p.m., Sunday, July 18, at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. N. O. Pugh, pastor of the Levy Street Mission, officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Goodman died at 11 p.m., July 16, in the Veterans Administration Hospital, after a short illness. A native of Many, he had been foreman for the Ford Motor Co. in Detroit. He had lived in Shreveport since 1960, was a Baptist, and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include one brother, Loy Goodman of New Orleans, two half-brothers, Carl J. Lowrey of Shreveport, and Clarence Lowrey of Port Hueneme, Calif. Pallbearers were D. F. Williams, Norman C. Oliver, Guy LaCaze, William Flynn, Olg Marris, and James Lobardino, all of Shreveport.
