Bertie Lee Goodman

  Mrs. Bertie Lee Goodman, 56, of Florien, died in Many Thursday,
August 19, at 5 p.m., after a short illness.

  Surviving relatives include her husband, Oscar Goodman of
Florien; two sons, Ronnie Dale, and Alton Duane Goodman of
Florien; one daughter, Miss Valeeta Gayle Goodman of Florien; six
brothers, Clarence, and Lorin Hardy, both of Many, E. O., and
Orson Hardy, both of Houston, Tex., Talmadge Hardy of Beaumont,
and Coleman Hardy of Shreveport; and three grandchildren.

  Services were held at the Church of Latter Day Saints Saturday,
August 21, at 3 p.m., with Mack Hayes, and Fred Wagley
officiating. Burial was in the Warren Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
