Oscar Goodman

  Oscar Goodman, 67, of Florien, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, at 9:30
a.m., following a short illness.

  Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 17, at 11 a.m., in the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with the Bishop Glen
Hardy, and Mack Hayes officiating. Burial followed in the Warren
Cemetery.

  Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Goodman of Florien, and Alton
Goodman, also of Florien; one daughter, Valetta Goodman, also of
Florien; five brothers, Roy Goodman of Pasadena, Tex., Allen
Goodman of Shreveport, Edward Goodman of Many, Troy Goodman, also
of Many, and Herman Goodman of Port Richey, Fla.; two sisters,
Mrs. Olie Ashley of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Edna Kile of Bastrop,
and three grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Sammie Beason, A. G. Hardy, Mike Knippers,
Burnice Hardy, Mike Wilson, and Luther Knippers Jr.
