Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct 23, at Noble Baptist Church, with interment following at Cassell Cemetery in Converse. Bro. Jimmy Price, pastor of Noble Baptist Church, officiated. Survivors include her husband, Norris Goodman of Zwolle; two sons, William "Peanut" Myers Jr. and wife Sheila of Logansport, and Phillip Myers and wife Angela of Zwolle; three daughters, Connie Thomas and husband Ben of Franklinton, Debbie Procell and husband Henry of Mansfield, and Karen Vines and husband Thomas of Converse; three sisters, Claudine Jacobs of Pleasant Hill, Lottie Ott of Pelican, and Sherry Ebarb of Zwolle; two brothers, Jim Golden of Pleasant Hill, and Fred Golden of Converse; 16 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Mrs. Goodman was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Willie Golden; two brothers, Willie Golden, and Leroy Farmer; and one sister, Billie Sepulvado. Pallbearers were Glenn, and Mike Ott. Jimmy, and Rodney Golden, and Allen, and Kevin Ebarb. Honorary pallbearers were William "Jim" Myers Sr., and Jim, and Fred Golden.
