Goodman, 78, of Shreveport, were held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 2, at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Bishop Ross Berrett, pastor of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where Mr. Goodman was a member, officiated. Burial was at Forest Park West Cemetery. Mr. Goodman died Thursday, February 28, 1985, at Doctors Hospital, after a short illness. He was born in Many, La., and has been a resident of Shreveport for the past 37 years. Mr. Goodman was retired from Midwest Farms Dairy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Norman Lockwood Goodman; and a son, Roger Goodman. He is survived by two sons, Randall Goodman of Ringgold, La., and Dale Goodman of Waskom, Texas; three daughters, Glenda Myers, and Gail Juneau of Shreveport, Amanda Juneau of Bossier City, La.; one sister, Ollie Ashworth of Nacogdoches, Texas; one brother, Edward Goodman of Many, La.; 18 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
