Lena C. Gauthier

  Funeral services for Lena C. Gauthier, 71, of Shreveport, will
be at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 24, in Rose-Neath Funeral Home's
Marshall Street Chapel.

  The Rev. James D. Ellisor, associate pastor of St. Paul's
Episcopal Church, officiated. Burial followed in Forest Park
Cemetery.

  Mrs. Gauthier, a native of Many, died shortly after 6 p.m.,
Sunday, July 23, in Schumpert Medical Center, after a lengthy
illness. She had lived in Shreveport 50 years, and was a member
of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

  Survivors include a stepson; stepdaughters; four sisters, Sue
Hendrick, and Mrs. Robert C. Williams, both of Shreveport, Edna
Salley of Many, and Laverne Rivers of Lake Charles; and a
brother, Calvin D. Carroll.

  Pallbearers were Robert C. Williams, Charles D. Carroll, Carroll
Salley, Arvin Rivers, Joe Bethley, and Calvin D. Carroll.
