Janice Faye Guidry

  Funeral services for Janice Faye Guidry, 40, were held Friday,
Oct. 11, at 11 a.m., at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel in
Haynesville. Interment was at new Ramah Cemetery.

  Mrs. Guidry passed away Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the LSU Medical
Center, after a very brief illness. She was born March 25, 1956,
in Chickasaw, Okla., as a resident of Noble, and was formerly of
Haynesville. She was a Baptist.

  She was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffery Benefield.

  Mrs. Guidry is survived by one son, Heith Guidry of Converse;
parents, Joe and Jeanette Benefield of Noble; one brother, Joe
Ray Benefield of Riverside, Tex.; two sisters, Bonnie Robert of
Jennings, and Betty Haller of Mobile, Ala.; grandmother, Pauline
Mayfield of Emerson, Ark.; a number of nieces and nephews; one
great niece; one great nephew; and many friends.
