She was a former resident of Franklin, and was born in Oak Grove. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Jan. 8, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following at Aimwell Cemetery. Bro. Steven Neesley, Chaplain for hospice care, officiated, and Bro. Vernon Stephenson assisted. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Mr. Raymond Gauthier of Many; five sons, Raymond Paul Gauthier Jr. of Baton Rouge, John Robert Gauthier and wife Linda of Shreveport, Richard Joseph Gauthier and wife Rhonda of Robeline, Phillip Anthony Gauthier, and Don Michael Gauthier and wife Darla, all of Many; one brother, William Robert Hurley of Corpus Christi, Texas; 21 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends will mourn his passing. Mrs. Gauthier was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Phinnie Hurley; two brothers, Perry Jr., and John Hurley; and two sisters, Lillian Foster, and Margie Ann McNiel.
