Johnny Gathright

  An argument resulted in the shooting of a 17 year old high
school student, her father, and a neighbor, all residents of
Zwolle.

  Dead in the melee are Linda Gathright, Johnny Gathright, about
45 years old, and Carl E. Ross, 63.

  The shooting occurred at the Gathright home in Zwolle, about
3:20 p.m., officers said.

  Gathright, a highway department employee, died some 15 minutes
after being shot in the hip, and twice in the chest at close
range.

  Linda was killed instantly. Ross lived about 20 minutes after
the shooting.

  Investigating the shooting were deputies Elliott, and Truett
Walden, and Zwolle City Marshall Clinton Brandon.
