William Roger Gill

  Funeral services for William Roger Gill of Campti, will be held
Thursday, August 25, at 10 a.m., at the Church of the Nativity in
Campti. Burial will be held at Campti Catholic Cemetery. Rev. B.
A. Scallon will officiate. Services are under the direction of
Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches.

  Mr. Gill, 26, died Tuesday, August 23, at the Natchitoches
Parish Hospital. A native of Campti, he was employed as a
bookkeeper for Campti-Pleasant Hill Telephone Co.

  Surviving relatives include his father, Lawrence H. Gill of
Campti; his mother, Eleanor Marie McGraw of Campti; three
sisters, Mary Fernbaugh of Campti, Rita Le Maine of Shamrock,
Tex., Theresa Gill of Miami, Fla.; three brothers, Richard Gill
of Natchitoches, Frank, and Lawrence Gill, both of Campti; his
maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Chamberlin of Pelican.

  Serving as pallbearers were Eric Chamberlin, Ronnie Chamberlin,
Ross Maggio, James Gill, Tony Fredieu, Barry Foshee, Hank Julian,
and Johnny Stewart, Honorary pallbearers were Gerald Lafitte, Tim
Lafitte, John Makai, Gus Brousard, Melvin Smith, Tom Barker, Earl
Morgan, and James Kostin.
