Services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle, with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, July 11, at 4:30 p.m. The Rev. Msgr. Robert C. Friend officiated. Pallbearers were C. C. Nabours, Cecil Tooke, Jack Jordan, Milton McFerrin, J. O. Kimbrell, K. C. Peterson, Murray Sepulvado, Clarence Bullard, Garrett Walsh, and Jack Napier. Honorary pallbearers were T. M. Phillips, George Martinez, Max Brown, Randal Parrott, Louis R. Lefkovits, Dr. L. H. Murdock, Robert Remedies, Pat E. Wright, John Henry Procell, Judge J. S. Pickett, Wilson Martinez, Paul Ebarb, Robert Loupe, T. L. Keelan, Bill Hopkins, Johnnie Boudreaux, Quinton Brandon, Simon Ebarb, and J. Ruel Boone. Surviving relatives are two sisters, Miss Bessie, and Miss Kay Gual, both of Zwolle. Miss Gual was born in Houston, and moved to Sabine Parish at an early age. She was a member of a pioneer family in Zwolle. Miss Gual's body laid in state, at her home.
