Lawrence M. Gill

  Lawrence M. Gill, 70, of Pleasant Hill, died at his residence,
Monday, Feb. 8, following a lengthy illness.

  Mr. Gill was owner and operator of the Pleasant Hill and Campti
Telephone System, having been in business since 1933.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday, at 3 p.m., in the St. Joseph
Catholic Church, and burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery,
under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home.

  He is survived by his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Jack K. Larsen
of Amarillo, Tex.; one son, Lawrence M. Gill Jr. of Campti; two
brothers, Frank E. Gill of Shreveport, and Cyril Gill of Odessa,
Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Herb Caloway, and Mrs. Mildred Speers,
both of Shreveport, and Mrs. Lucy Row of Magnolia, Ark.; 14
grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
