Giles Mrs. Nettie Beeson Giles, 79, of Lake Charles, died at 12:15 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, in a Lake Charles nursing home. Mrs. Giles had lived for the past 30 years in Lake Charles, where she was employed by the Woolworth Co., from the time the store was opened until she retired a few years ago. She was a member of First Baptist Church at Pitkin, and the Order of the Eastern Star, and was the widow of Dave Giles. Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Della Tynes of Natchitoches, Mrs. Maggie Mitchell of Shreveport, and Mrs. Stella Mitchell of Robeline; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were to be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, May 10, in First Baptist Church, Pitkin, with the Rev. V. G. Kelly officiating. Burial was in Blue Branch cemetery, under direction of Hammer's of Lake Charles.
