Funeral services were held at Gandy Baptist Church on Saturday, Jan. 4, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Marvin Brown, and the Rev. M. A. Neely officiating. Burial was in Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Juanita Glaspie of Hornbeck; 2 sons, James H., and Charles H. Glaspie, both of Hornbeck; 2 daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Fields, and Miss Margaret Glaspie, both of Hornbeck; 2 brothers, Lester Glaspie of Leesville, and David Glaspie of Mathaville; 4 sisters, Mrs. Evie Martin, Martha Mitchell, and Ellen Warmack, all of Hornbeck, and Mrs. Rosie Estes of Leesville; and 7 grandchildren.
