Louis Golston

  Funeral services for Louis Golston, 87, of Shreveport, were held
Sunday, Nov. 5, at 3 p.m., in the East Chapel of Winnfield
Funeral Home. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery.

  Mr. Golston, a Mansfield native, died Sunday, Oct. 28, at LSU
Medical Center, after a short illness. A farmer, Mr. Golston had
lived in Shreveport for 75 years.

  Survivors include his wife, Janie Golston; seven sons, James
Golston, Paster Lee Golston, Isaiah Golston, Otis Golston, Louis
Golston Jr., Leroy Golston, and Frank Golston, all of Shreveport;
four daughters, Annie Bell Tiggs, Mary Webb, Charlett Miles, and
Fannie Mae King, all of Shreveport; one sister, Lula Wysinger of
Many; one brother, Willie Golston of Shreveport; 66
grandchildren; 65 great grandchildren; and 13 great-great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were his sons and grandsons.
