James Gulett

  James Loria Gulett, 48, of Converse, died Saturday, July 3,
after a sudden illness.

  Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Monday, July 5, in Union
Springs Baptist Church, with the Rev. Shannon O. Glee, and the
Rev. Jimmy Brossett officiating. Burial was in the church
cemetery.

  Survivors are his widow; three sons, Loria Gulett, Matt Gulett,
and Jeff Gulett, all of Converse; father, J. C. Gulett of Minden;
four brothers, Clifford Gulett of Memphis, Tenn., Raymond Gulett
of Dayton, Ohio, Linton Gulett of Monroe, and Calvin Gulett of
Whittier, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Lois Mecham of Converse, and
Mrs. Sharon Herrington of West Monroe.
