A native of Fort Jesup, Mrs. Gladden had been a Shreveport resident since 1919, and was a housewife. She was a member of Mangum Memorial United Methodist Church, and a charter member of Cheermakers Sunday School Class. Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 18, in the Marshall Street Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dan W. Tobline, pastor of Mangum Memorial United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Park Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Felix E. Gladden; two sons; two daughters; two sisters; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. There are no local survivors.
