Golemon, 74, were held at 2;30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 6, in Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. The Rev. Joe Aulds, pastor of Pinecroft Baptist, officiated, and the Rev. Jerry Schmucker, former pastor of Pinecroft Baptist Church, assisted. Burial was in Forest Park West. Mr. Golemon, a native of Hineston, La., died Oct. 4, 1986, in Willis-Knighton Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. He had been a resident of Shreveport for the past 21 years. He had been a section foreman with Texas and Pacific Railroad for 39 years, before retiring. He was a member, and past deacon of Pinecroft Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Emma Warren Golemon of Shreveport; one son, Ray Golemon of Swartz; two daughters, Mrs. Roy J. (Ruth) St. Romain, Mrs. Pat (Judy) Reynolds, both of Marshall; three stepchildren, Shirley Logue, Roger D. Warren, David L. Warren, all of Shreveport; two sisters, Lillie Mae Bruce of Leesville, Mrs. Alma L. Smith of Bossier City; three brothers, the Rev. E. W. Golemon of Pleasant Hill, Dr. Clarence Golemon of Alexandria, Earl E. Golemon of Pineville; 11 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were deacons of Pinecroft Baptist Church.
