Ronald Wayne Gilmer, Jr.

  Funeral services for Ronald Wayne Gilmer Jr., 32, of Dallas,
Tex., were held April 11, 1996, at 2 p.m., in the Les Fontaine
Funeral Home in Many, with the Rev. Barney Cabra officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Freedom Cemetery in Many, under the
direction of Beauregard-Vernon Funeral Home in Leesville. He died
April 8, 1996, at Parkland Hospital in Garland, Tex.

  Mr. Gilmer was a native of Many. He attended Many High School,
and graduated in Odessa, Tex. He attended Northwestern State
University. He moved to Dallas, Tex. 15 years ago, where he
worked as an artist for General Cinemas. He also worked with
computers.

  He is survived by two brothers, Ricky Hobbs of Many, Ryan Gilmer
of DeRidder; three sisters, Laurenda Wright of Odessa, Tex.,
Tonya Moore of DeRidder, and Melissa Muecke of San Antonio, Tex.
His parents are Ron Sr. and Carolyn Gilmer of DeRidder, and
Teresa and Dana Veteto of Odessa, Tex.; his paternal grandmother,
Inez Strahan of Many; maternal grandmother, Polly Sexton of
Dallas, Tex., as well as seven nieces and nephews.
