Sarah Kate Gewin

  Mrs. Sarah Kate Gewin of Pleasant Hill, died on Saturday, Dec.
20, at 9:45 a.m., following a brief illness. Mrs. Gewin was 82.

  She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Eloise Hall of Pleasant
Hill; two sons, Coiley Gewin of Coushatta, and Audrey Gewin of
Norfolk, Va.; eight grandchildren, and eleven great
grandchildren.

  Services were held on Monday, Dec. 23, at 11 a.m., at the
Progress Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Jerry Lawson, and the
Rev. Dale Gentry officiating. Interment followed at the Progress
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
