The Sabine Index - Mrs. P. M. Gewin

  7 Feb 1941 - Funeral rites for Mrs. P. M. Gewin, age 72 years,
were held last Friday from Spring Ridge with Rev. Mrs. Ada Slaton
of Mansfield officiating. Interment in the Belmont cemetery.
Dennis-Green funeral home of Many directing.

  Surviving: sisters, Mrs. Lydia Minton of San Augustine, Texas;
brother, B. Pickard of Albany, Texas; three sons, G. C., W. H.
and M. B. Gewin, 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

  Active pallbearers were: D. F. Chapman, W. H. Rains, A. P.
Thompson, J. L. Dyess, Clifton Free and Roy Middleton.
