Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 12, at 2 p.m., in the Progress Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with interment in the Progress Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Lawson officiated. Services were under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Surviving relatives of Mr. Gewin is one son, Ronald McCoy Gewin, Duncan, Okla.; five brothers, Marion B. Gewin, Jr. of Zichran, Israel, Joel D. Gewin, Liberty, Tex., Rhuel J. Gewin, Issaquah, Washington, Clarence N. Gewin Pleasant Hill, and Paul E. Gewin of Many; four sisters, Mrs. Rowayne Wells, Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Gwendolyn Migues, Houston, Texas, Mrs. Nellie F. Campbell, Liberty, Texas, and Mrs. Peggy L. Boschert, St. Charles Missouri; with a host of nieces and nephews.
