Mrs. M. B. Gewin

  Mrs. M. B. Gewin, 73, of Pleasant Hill, died at 7:40 a.m., on
March 14, following a short illness.

  She is survived by her husband, M. B. Gewin of Pleasant Hill;
six sons, Paul, and Clarence Gewin, both of Pleasant Hill, Ruel
J. Gewin of Slidell, Joel Gewin of Liberty, Tex., Marion Jr. of
Israel, and Billy Gewin of Houston, Tex.; four daughters, Mrs. J.
J. Wells of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. L. J. Migues of Houston, Tex.,
Mrs. James H. Campbell of Liberty, Tex., and Mrs. N. C. Boschert
of St. Charles, Md.; one sister, Mrs. Lois Blakeley of Longview,
Tex.; and 21 grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Monday, March 16, at 3 p.m., in
Progress Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Dale Gentry,
and the Rev. L. C. Korans officiated. Burial was in Progress
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
