All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Tommy Jean Gamble Funeral services for Tommy Jean Gamble, 52, of Shreveport, were held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home's Southside Chapel in Shreveport, with the Rev. Wayne Harville, pastor of the Sunset Church of Christ, officiating. Burial followed in Centuries Memorial Park in Shreveport. Mrs. Gamble died Monday, Nov. 5, at Doctor's Hospital, following a long illness. A native of Castor, she had been a resident of Shreveport for 30 years. She was an inspector at Western Electric, and a member of Castor Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, George H. Gamble of Shreveport; her mother, Pearlie Mae Blake of Zwolle; two sons, Mike Gamble, and Barry Gamble of Shreveport; one daughter, Peggy Wesneski of Mount Clemens, Mich.,; one sister, Patsy Slayden of Mesquite, Tx.; six brothers, Weaver Blake of Shelbyville, Tx., L. D. Blake of Shreveport, Johnny Blake of Grand Cane, Benett Blake of Zwolle, Mack Blake of Tyler, Tx., and Rush Blake of Baton Rouge; and five grandchildren.
