John Henry Goins

  John Henry Goins, 79, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, in Lake Charles,
after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held in Anacoco First Baptist, Friday,
Nov. 11, with the Rev. Floyd Hayman, and the Rev. Robert Graham
officiating. Burial was in the Mitchell Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include two sons, Herman Goins of Ft. Pierce, Florida,
and Truman Goins of Laos; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Gass of
Natchitoches, Mrs. Hazel Thomason of Westlake, and Mrs. Reba
Jones of Hornbeck; two brothers, George Goins of Provencal, and
Ben Goins of Leesville; one sister, Mrs. Jane Armstrong of
Pineville; and 13 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
