All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Delores Marie Gonzales Funeral services for Mrs. Delores Marie Gonzales, 54, were held Wednesday, March 6, at 2 p.m., in Spring Ridge Baptist Church, at Pleasant Hill. Interment followed at Spring Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel. Mrs. Gonzales died Sunday, March 3, at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. She was born in Longview, Texas, on January 27, 1937. Mrs. Gonzales was a member of Trenton United Pentecostal Church in Mansfield, where she was very active in the church's activities. She served as a former Lioness of St. Bernard's Lion's Eye Foundation in New Orleans, and was one of the people to assist in it's organization. Mrs. Gonzales was preceded in death by mother and father, Ray Goodwin Sr., and Lois Carrie Abraham Arie; and also her grandfather, J. B. Arie. Survivors include her husband, Michael V. Gonzales Jr. of Pleasant Hill; one son, James Rickey Hebert of Pleasant Hill; grandmother, Mrs. Eola Greer Arie of Pleasant Hill; one half brother Ray E. Goodwin Jr. of Pleasant Hill; two aunts, Ethel Rivers of Pleasant Hill, and Anice Arcemot of New Orleans; two uncles, Autry E. Greer of Shreveport, and Ray E. Coolman Sr. of Houston, Texas. Pallbearers were Glenn Ponder, Clyde Gaddis, Frank Sanders, Andre Penntey, Stephen Freeman, Chuck Gaddis, and Jackie Savell.
