Nora Gandy

  Mrs. Nora Gandy, 71, of Many, died Oct. 20, after an extended illness.

  Surviving relatives include her son, Gkeb Dowden of Port Arthur, Tex.; three brothers,
William E. Gandy of Leesville, Melvin Gandy of Many, and Elmer Gandy of Orange, Tex.; a
sister, Miss Mae Gandy of Many; one grandson; and a number of nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held in Middle Creek Baptist Church Oct. 22, with the Rev. Marvin
Brown officiating. Burial was in Middle Creek Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home of Many.
