B. F. Gandy Jr.

  Benjamin Franklin Gandy Jr., 75, of Bellwood, died Wednesday,
Jan. 2.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, in the Bellwood
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Billy Burkett officiating. Burial
was in Bellwood Cemetery, under the direction of the St. Denis
Funeral Home of Natchitoches.

  Survivors include two sons, Wilmer Gandy of Natchitoches, and
Fred Gandy of Bellwood; four daughters, Mrs. Isabelle Green of
Bellwood, Mrs. Winnifred Carriger of Shreveport, Mrs. Vertie
Edwards of El Cajon, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Della Speights of
negreet, Mrs. Nerma Smith of Crockett, Ark., Mrs. Emma Miller of
Kirbyville, Tex., and Mrs. Penola Cheives of Alexandria; three
brothers, mack Gandy of Provencal, George Gandy of Columbia, and
Edward Gandy of Pineville; nine grandchildren, and two great
grandchildren.
