The Sabine Index - William H. Gandy 
  
  11 Dec 1959 - Funeral services for William H. Gandy, age 86, who 
passed away Dec. 2, were conducted at Mt. Carmel Baptist church 
at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 4 with Rev. E. T. Marr officiating. Interment 
was in the church cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral 
Home. 
  
  Pallbearers were Rufus Corley, W. A. Ricks, Luther Corley, W. D. 
Porter, Jesse Miller and Roy Skinner. 
  
  Surviving relatives include; daughters, Miss Jewel Gandy of 
Shreveport, Mrs. Amos Carter of Many, Mrs. D. A. Huddleston of 
Natchitoches; one son Willie M. Gandy of Florien; three 
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
